Mentioned: 1917, 1918
Comrades in the field

An officer with the French Mission, a dinner guest on November 6, 1917 (the same evening Robertson writes his entry as a Samuel Pepys parody), and lunched with again the next day. "Redel," almost certainly a nickname contraction, reappears a month later on December 17, rounded up for cards and visited at his billet.
