Cummings

Fellow officer
Mentioned: 1917 only
Comrades in the field

A recurring presence throughout 1917: corps school at Pernes in January, in and out of the line through February and April (once with lumbago), taking over #4 Section, and lending Robertson blankets in mid-May. Last named in a casualty list that November: "Letter from Pete says it is a Blitey," i.e. a wound serious enough to be sent back to England.
