[Canadian Reserve/Reinforcement Training Depot] and posted to the 2nd Entrenching Battalion, a unit that doesn't otherwise appear in the diary. Recurs into early February helping with camp chores and running errands. A distinct person from Tommy Williams, whom Robertson already knew well beforehand and treats very differently: as a distant acquaintance glimpsed in passing that same month, not a fellow officer sharing his billet.
