Scott Browne
Acquaintance
Mentioned: 1917 only
Comrades in the field First named in June 1917: Robertson goes looking for him at the Canadian Motor Machine Gun Brigade but finds he'd already been shifted elsewhere. The standing arrangement between them is finally kept three months later, in September, when Scott Browne drops by to collect on a dinner promise. Distinct from "Scotty" and from the unrelated "Scott" references scattered elsewhere in the diary: Canon Scott, a real historical chaplain; a "Mrs. Scott" writing from home; and a "La Scott" encountered at Chateau La Haie.
