Major Scully

Commanding officer
Mentioned: 1915, 1916
Commanders & senior officers

The officer who formally swore Robertson into service, in Moncton in February 1915. By that summer he was the major commanding the 1st Reserve Battery at Shorncliffe, and signed Robertson's leave passes there; the two cross paths again socially the following year. The 21st Field Battery he commanded left Montreal for overseas on February 17, 1915, with Robertson in its ranks: a departure covered at length in the city's newspapers.
