H.L. Fetherstonhaugh (Harold Lea Fetherstonhaugh)
Brother of Fether (E.P. Fetherstonhaugh)
Mentioned: not confirmed in diary
McGill & friends from home Lieut. Harold Lea Fetherstonhaugh, M.C.: an architect (Architecture '09, of Fetherstonhaugh and McDonald, Montreal), born in Montreal on March 31, 1887. He attested on February 1, 1915, coming from the 39th Field Battery of the militia, and enlisted with the 21st Battery of Artillery (the same original battery Robertson himself joined), later serving with the 4th Battery, First Division. He was the younger brother of "Fether," the diary's E. P. Fetherstonhaugh: both were sons of E. C. B. Fetherstonhaugh of 775 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal. Harold does not appear to be named in the diary himself: its "Fetherstonhaugh" is the elder brother.
