Crabb
Fellow officer
Mentioned: 1917, 1918
Comrades in the field First named at a dinner at the XIII Corps Supply Column, December 15, 1917, alongside Capt. Cloves, Brotchy, and Pettit. The same pairing with Brotchy recurs at a dinner just over a month later, January 18, 1918 ("went over to dine with Brotchy, Crabb & Co."), tying the two gatherings to the same circle. Went on leave a week after that second dinner (January 25), and turns up once more, spelled "Crabbe," on March 8, 1918: treated as the same man given the short interval and the lack of any competing candidate.
